A Joseph Holdcroft majolica punch-bowl, moulded to the exterior with ferns and water-lilies against a stiff-leaf band, the foot moulded with an arcaded band above a rope twist, painted in colours (slight crazing to glaze and staining), impressed mark, late 19th Century -- 13¾in. diam.
