An unusual sailors wooden model of the unarmoured steam/sail frigate HMS 'Shah' (ex.Blonde).--13¾ x 19½in (35 x 49.5cm).
With masts, spars, standing and running rigging and deck details including anchors, capstan, ventilators, deck lights, two stayed funnels with safety valve extension pipes, wheel house, two ship's boats in davits and other details. The hull, finished in pink, black and varnish with gilded scroll decoration to bow and stern has forty-eight guns. Stand and glazed case (one pane cracked).
