An extremely fine and detailed exhibition standard wood and metal electric powered model of the cargo ship M.V.'Orchidea' of Haifa, built by I.V.Marinov. --17¼ x 69in (43.8 x 175.3cm)
With signal masts with navigation lights, aerials, derricks, rigging and deck details including anchors, winches, hose reels, gratings, deck rails, companionways, bollards, hatches, deck houses, spare six blade propellor and emergency anchor, deck winches, scale blocks and bottle screws, superstructure with wheelhouse, binnacle and D.F.loop, rigged awnings, ventilators, life rafts, life belts, jacob's ladder, detailed lifeboats in davits, deck lights, swimming pool and many other fine details. The g.r.p. covered planked and framed hull has single shaft and engine turned and polished six blade propellor and rudder (motor removed). Finished in brown, green and grey with green decks and white superstructure and dressed overall. Stand and fitted carrying box, certificates and literature.
