A fine gaff-schooner rigged racing sailing yacht 'Sarah Howard' built by H.Heppell, circa 1930. --73½ x 70in (186.5 x 178cm).
With masts, booms, standing and running rigging, full suit of stitched battoned linen sails and plated deck fittings including horses, cleats, pulleys and self steering gear. The hull, carved from the solid, with lead weighted keel and plated rudder, finished in green, white and varnish. Stand. Fitted carrying box with two boat hooks.
This model is not thought to have ever been sailed.
