The fleet minesweeper H.M.S. Iroquois, 1,320 tons, was one of the '24' Class sloops ordered from various yards in 1918. Iroquois, built by Barclay Curle and launched on 24 August 1918, was - like her sister - 276.5 feet long and could make 17 Knots under full power. Completed too late to see active service in the Great War, she was converted to a survey ship in 1922, served throughout the world until the mid-1930's and withdrawn in 1937, being broken up shortly afterwards.
