A walnut and feather-banded cabinet-on-stand, with moulded cornice and pair of cross-banded and inlaid doors enclosing a fitted interior of thirteen drawers and hidden compartments, the stand with two frieze drawers and spiral-twist legs joined by wavy X-shaped stretcher, on bun feet, the cabinet early 18th century, extensively restored, the stand of a later date -- 42½in. (108cm.) wide.
