A mid-Victorian mahogany plans chest, with rectangular top above eleven graduated drawers flanked by stile uprights, one locking, on plinth base, one side and the top split, the top drawer with printed label Walker's Galleries Ltd., 118, New Bond Street, London, W1, March 1962. This case of drawers was made for William Callow, R.W.S., 1812 - 1908, when he was living at The Firs, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, from 1855. -- 45in. (112cm.) wide, 30½in. (77.5cm.) deep, 56in. (142.5cm.) high.
