A late Victorian rosewood and marquetry bureau de dame, the hinged slope centred by an urn and enclosing an interior fitted with three short drawers stationery compartments and a well, beneath a superstructure, with two three-quarter brass galleries, above two glazed doors about a mirror and short drawer, the waved frieze on clasp-headed cabriole legs reaching to sabots -- 32in. (81cm.) wide, 20in. (51cm.) deep, 51in. (130cm.) high.
