An English creamware armorial plate, transfer-printed in black, probably after an engraving by Jeramiah Evans, with a coat-of-arms, the bearings of an anchor in saltire between four towers, the base with a profile bust, surmounted by a crest of a knight's helmet and torse below a woman, her arm extended, within a scrolling cartouche issuing foliage supported by a gateway and columns before landscape, the border with the crest and monogram JNMK within a shaped rim (chips to rim), late 18th Century -- 10in. diam.
