An Old Sheffield plate fluted rounded oblong centrepiece on a gadrooned and part-fluted quatrefoil base with floral and foliate-capped lion's paw feet, decorated with sphinx's, foliage and shells and fitted with four detachable shell-decorated scrolling branches, one side engraved with a crest, circa 1815 - 11in.
