A late Victorian three-piece tapering moulded oval tea service chased with rococo flowers and foliage and engraved with crests, each with a pierced shaped everted rim applied with floral, foliate and C-scroll borders, the teapot with a flute and floral-chased rising curved spout, polished wood double scroll handle and chased domed hinged cover with silver-mounted fluted oval wood finial, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, in a plush-lined oak case, Gibson & Langman, London 1897, each engraved with a retailer's name and address:"Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112, Regent St.", each also engraved with a Patent registration number - height of teapot 5in., 39oz.
