A George III baluster lidded quart tankard on a spreading foot and with a moulded body band and rim, double scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal, and domed hinged cover with openwork thumb piece, later-chased and embossed with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls and also with a later-added spout, maker's initials I.K., London 1776, the spout bearing later hallmarks - 7¾in., 25.50oz.
