Provenance
This is believed to have been given to Susannah Hearle, Maid of Honour to Queen Anne for her services. Miss Hearle's sister, Jane, married John Kimber of Fowey. They were the daughters and co-heiresses of Frank Hearle Esq of Tregony, County Cornwall. The coverlet came down to Sir Egerton Hamond Graeme from his great grandmother, the wife of the Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Graham Hamond,l Bart, GCB who married Miss Kimber of Fowey.
