A Liverpool (Philip Christian's factory) blue and white bowl painted with an Oriental fisherman below an insect, seated by terracing by a willow, peonies and pine, a sprig of flowers to the reverse, the interior with a spray to the centre below a diaper pattern border (slight fritting to the interior, some wear), paper label, circa 1765 -- 7¾in. diam.
