A Vienna-style green-ground oviform ewer and stand, painted with two Classical roundles featuring Cupid and the Muse of painting, indistinctly titled to base, within square gilt panels enriched with raised scrolls, on a broad claret and pink-ground band reserved with oval panels and gilt with griffins and scrolling foliage above a stiff leaf band and below swags of leaves, with a scrolling foliate handle and rim on a square section foot, the stand painted with oval panels of Classical scenes, titled to base, painted and gilt in a similar style (some minor chips and wear to gilt), blue beehive marks, circa 1900 -- 22¾in. high
