A Meissen rectangular tea-caddy and cover with strawberry finial, painted in colours to each side with bucolic vignettes of figures at various pursuits, the shoulders with sprigs of flowers, the cover apainted with a recumbent ewe and a seated hound, with gilt rims (minor chips and wear), blue crossed swords mark, mid 18th Century -- 5in. high
