A Meissen figure of Harlequin possibly modelled by J.J. Kaendler, playing the bagpipes, modelled seated on a rocky outcrop, wearing a snood, ruffled shirt, waistcoat and breeches, his waistcoat painted in quarters with playing cards, stripes, with a pink and a yellow panel, his other clothes enriched in green and yellow, blue crossed swords mark to the reverse, circa 1740 -- 5in. high
