A vase painted and heavily gilt with shaped panels of Buddhist figures and attendants and warriors in rocky landscapes alternating with panels of butterflies among flowers, all on a bright blue ground further decorated with brocade roundels and scrolling foliage (hairline crack to neck, some gilt rubbing) -- 15½in. high.
