A hexagonal vase with slightly flaring neck and scrolling handles decorated in coloured enamels and gilt with panels of sennin, dragons, karashishi and a well beneath branches of peony above breaking waves, between geometric designs to the neck and foot -- 9½in. high, signed Satsuma-yaki Setsuzan beneath a blue enamelled mon.
