A pair of Victorian silver-gilt-mounted cut glass ovoid claret jugs on foliate-chased domed circular bases and with similarly-decorated mounts and domed hinged covers with spiral-twist finials, each engraved with a monogram and with a foliate-decorated scroll handle, the bodies cut with chysanthemums to resemble rock crystal, in a quilted satin-lined fitted case, Charles Edwards, London 1889, the glass bodies probably by Webbs of Stourbridge - 13¼in.
