A George III burr yew and silver mounted workbox, the hinged cover applied with a plaque incised with the arms of Queen Charlotte, the plaque and handles to the sides with the maker's marks probably that of James Trender, London, the interior of the box with a leather lined folio flap to the lid above various compartments and a frieze drawer to the front -- 14in. (36cm.) wide.
