A Regency mahogany and marquetry oval wine cooler, the hinged top centred by a gilt-metal snake handle mounted on a cartouche, within an entwined scrolled oval, flanked by flower sprays and crossbanded in kingwood enclosing a lead-lined interior, the front inlaid with an urn amidst scroll and on turned tapering legs with brass caps, one cap detached, the marquetry late 19th century -- 77½in. (170cm.) wide, 21¼in. (54cm.) deep, 24¼in. (62cm.) high.
