A George I walnut uright secretaire, with moulded cornice and cushioned frieze drawer above a feather-banded fall enclosing a leather-lined writing surface, eleven short drawers about a cupboard door with pigeon holes concealing secret compartments, the lower section with two short and two long graduated drawers on bracket feet, the feet and some veneers of later date, the fall front cracked -- 44in. (112cm.) wide, 21in. (53.5cm.) deep, 66in. (168cm.) high.
