A Second Empire mahogany and ormolu-mounted cartonier, the moulded cornice above a frieze applied with paterae, anthemion and mask clasps above three columns of seven paper-lined and hinged drawers, each labelled with an architects name and locked by means of the central stiles, the side panels centred by clasps depicting angels and cornucopiae, the lower section with two slides above two panelled doors, each centred by a clasp, on moulded plinth.
