A pair of Louis XIV style ebonised tortoiseshell and brass-inlaid dwarf display cabinets, applied with ormolu mounts, each with a rectangular moulded yellow and pink mottled marble top above a single glazed panelled door, the escutheons in the form of opposing eagles masks, the uprights applied with shell and strap-work foliate scroll clasps, with glazed panels to the sides, enclosing velvet lined shelves, the bracketed plinth applied with paterae and scrolling foliage, both marble tops cracked and repaired with slight losses to the corners, late 19th century -- 26¾in.
