A Japanese gilt bronze foliate rimmed circular dish decorated in iroe hirazogan and takazogan with monkeys at play on fruiting peach branches beside crabs among breaking waves and rockwork, some crabs attacking the monkeys with their claws, all within a shaped border with intertwined flower sprigs and key pattern rim (minor scratches) -- 11¾in. diam, signed and with seal of Kyoto Inoue sei.
