M., direct-vision finder, footage indicator, pictures-per-second control and a helically focusing lens, in a fitted leather case with applied metal badge J.J.M; a quantity of Pathe 9.5mm. film cassettes; two 2¾ x 3¾ inch gelatin-silver prints, one showing Marlow and the other showing Marlow with a Technicolor camera.

Lot Essay

John Marlow was a highly respected camera mechanic who worked for Newman-Sinclair before joining the Technicolor camera department in 1937 to look after their three-strip cameras. This camera was built by Marlow for his personal use.
