An 18th century oak eight day longcase clock, the flat stepped hood with column uprights, the square brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, signed T Wentworth Sarum Fe, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture, within bearded mask spandrels, the door to the trunk with oval bats' wing patera, on a plain stepped plinth -- 80½in. (204.5cm.) high.
