A Victorian gilt-lined rectangular cigarette case, one side engraved with presentation initials, the front enamelled with a street scene featuring a naked voluptuous woman wearing a crown and seated backwards on a donkey, being led through a portal, a jeering crowd in the distance, T.A.& Co., Birmingham 1876 - 3.5in.
The above lot was reputedly a gift from Sir William Stapleton Royce, the founder of South African Railways, to a friend.
