A small collection of Russian and Soviet pieces, comprising: a beaded and gilt-lined mug with dragon handle, the front with a vacant circular cartouche surrounded by draperies, flowers and foliage - 5½in., a pair of plain salt cellars, two napkin rings, one engraved with peasant figures and with a vacant cartouche, the other engraved with a troika, and a pair of sugar tongs and a matching sifting spoon decorated with rococo flowers and foliage, the latter with gilt-lined bowls, and a Portuguese 19th Century beaded shell-shaped chamber candlestick on lion's paw feet and with a foliate-decorated scroll handle, the part-fluted socket fitted with a gadrooned detachable nozzle - 6¼in.
