An antique Kazak prayer rug, the brick-red field with hooked panels and small lozenges around three stylised hooked medallions in indigo, shades of green, ivory, yellow and brown, the keel-arch with small lozenges and hooked octagons surrounded by ivory hooked leaf and glass motif border between green and blue reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, date 1212 at one end, slight wear, outer stripes missing at both sides --4ft.8in. x 3ft.6in.(142cm. x 107cm.)
