A satinwood, boxwood strung and kingwood crossbanded tea caddy, the hinged cover with a silver swing handle, the red velvet lined interior fitted with twin silver sliding canisters, the covers incised with trailing foliate borders, makers marks to the bases, flanking an aperture fo mixing bowl, possibly Dutch, late 18th century -- 10¾in. (27.5cm.) wide.
