A mahogany partners' desk of mid-Georgian style, the inverted rectangular top with foliate-carved edge inset with gilt tooled brown leather, the frieze with a strap-work trefoil scroll on pedestals, each fitted with three short drawers opposed by a cupboard door applied with a ribbon-tied foliate wreath, the right pedestal enclosing a deep drawer with ribbon-tied swags to the side panels, on squat acanthus-carved cabriole legs and claw and ball feet -- 66in. (168cm.) wide, 41in. (104cm.) deep, 30in. (76cm.) high.
