A Meissen shaped oval dish after the original Swan service modelled by J. J. Kändler and J. F. Eberlein, with shell moulding, the centre with two swans swimming among rushes beside a heron with a fish in it's beak, in rough water, above them a heron in flight, below a fluted border between gilt lines (slight wear), blue crossed swords mark, circa 1880 -- 12in. wide
