A William Schiller & Sons majolica blue-ground baluster vase with flared neck and rampant griffin handles, the shoulders moulded with a scale pattern above swags of flowers, leaves and pine cones suspended from lions' masks, moulded with arcaded sections and stiff leaf bands, supported by a square section base, impressed WS&S pad mark, shape no. 885, circa 1880 -- 20¾in. high
