A Royal Worcester ivory-ground cylindrical jug, the spout formed as a scallop issuing from the mouth of a roaring lion above moulded leaves, the handle terminating in a lions paw and leaves, richly gilt, painted in colours and gilt with scrolling foliage, issuing flowers, printed puce marks, date code for 1888, shape no. 1258 -- 8¾in. high
