An embossed and pierced paperlace valentine card, stamp marked Kershaw & Son, wth gilt embossed centre, with applied fabric flowers, verse reads 'Proudly would my fone heart yield/And follow to the camp or field' - 5 x 7in.; a valentine with applied lithographic hand-coloured details, centre with net and applied scrap lifting to reveal a mirror, verse reads 'As limpid streams reflect the azure sky/See mirror'd here thy own bright beamine eye' - 4½ x 7in.; two with silver embossing and pierced paperlace, applied with scraps, one with central detail of a door which opens to revel a cupid with Fidelity, tho other with chromolithographed flowers and message Thy love n'er flag - both 5 x 7in.
