A late Victorian brass-mounted ebonised and burr-walnut davenport, the three-quarter gallery above a pair of panelled doors, with oval Jasper panels depicting classical figures, opening to reveal a fitted interior above a fitted frieze drawer with leather-lined writing slope above four true and four false side drawers, on scroll feet -- 22½in. (57cm.) wide.
