Provenance
It is not known how large the edition of London as it is was or how many were hand coloured. The book was offered for sale at 4 guineas for sets in sepia monochrome, 10gns. coloured by hand and mounted in portfolio, or individual plates at 4s. monochrome, 7s. 6d. coloured or 10s. coloured and mounted. The present set being trimmed to the subject and mounted on card possibly conforms to the sets offered at 10gns. i
