An Arita trumpet vase painted and gilt with a shaped panel of an eagle among peony branches on a ground of fish cartouches and scrolling foliage -- 12½in. high, circa 1700; and a Satsuma hexagonal teapot and cover painted and gilt with birds among peonies and daisies -- 5¾in. high, impressed mark.
