A 19th century German parcel gilt bronze cathedral clock, the arcaded case with spires, bell tower and cluster column uprights, applied and cast with tracery, inset with ruby glass panels to the sound frets and back, with visible pendulum aperture, the pierced dial with Roman numerals, on a rectangular stepped plinth, the movement with countwheel strike and silk suspension, the case signed P. Schmurkert Cie in Mannheim -- 24in. (61cm.) high.
