A late 18th century oak eight day longcase clock, the flat stepped hood flanked by columnar uprights with gilt heightened capitals flanking an arched brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the foliate engraved centre with subsiduary seconds ring and date aperture within female mask spandrels, the arch signed on a boss Cha's Watts, Bourne, the plain trunk on stepped plinth with bracket feet -- 85in. (216cm.) high.
