A pair of Cantonese tapering square bough pots with moulded leaf shaped handles and slightly domed covers, painted and gilt with shaped panels of ducks among lotus, dignitaries at leisure on terraces and birds among chrysanthemums and rockwork, all on a ground of butterflies among fruit and flower sprays above a band of figures in fenced gardens to the slightly spreading feet (four handles damaged, one bough pot with chip to underside of rim, one cover damaged) -- 8½in. high.
