A mid 19th Century Indian Colonial baluster lidded tankard on a foliate-applied rising shaped circular foot and with a dragon and scrolling foliate handle and moulded rim, the body chased and applied with a frieze of rising stiff acanthus leaves, a vignette of three race horses with jockeys up above and with presentation inscription dated 1846, the foliate-applied cover with finial modelled as a mare with foal, Hamilton & Co., Calcutta - 10¼in., 37.25oz.
