An unusually small three-piece George IV tapering circular campaign or travelling tea service on rim bases and with moulded everted rims, the teapot with squat rising curved spout, scroll handle and domed hinged cover with fluted circular finial, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, the milk jug with wicker-covered scroll handle, in original plush-lined mahogany travelling case with gilt brass drop-handles, the hinged cover with a vacant cartouche, probably William Elliott, London 1825 - height of teapot 2½in., 12.75oz. gross.
