A helm, in pseudo-medieval style, of great size and weight, made in three riveted parts and shaped like a 15th century barbute with reinforced T-shaped face opening with nasal, and with rear tube forming part of an iron strap riveted across the back of the skull, second quarter of the 19th century -- 15½in. (39.4cm.) high.
