A Continental late 19th Century decorative lantern on a detachable foliate-decorated domed circular base fitted with a candle holder, the underside engraved with a monogram, the lantern itself chased with classical figures, foliage and flowers and applied with three dolphins, the three apertures contining ruby-stained bevelled glass panels, with a foliate-chased spherical finial with reeded loop handle, bearing import marks for London 1896 - 12in.
