A set of four late Victorian walnut and marquetry side chairs, each with raised back and solid-vase splat inlaid with a Scottish sypher and inscribed Nolime Tangere 1745, and oval medallion inscribed C.L. above padded seat on cabriole legs with block feet joined by flattened stretchers, with metallic label T.K Wright & Sons, Cabinet Maker's Milson St., Bath.

The firm of of Knight & Sons was known for the manufacture of a wide variety of furniture designs and traded under this name and later that of Knight and Sons, Ltd, from 1889 until it was taken over by Jolly and Son in 1912.
