No.6709 with six cylinders playing six mainly operatic airs each, with two-thirds mandoline comb (teeth in groups of up to five), in bonheur-du-jour form case of Louis XVI style, veneered in amboyna with ebony banding, box and harewood stringing, ormolu mounts, beading and gallery, with leather writing surface, bowed breakfront desk with cylinder drawer and ormolu-mounted turned fluted ebonised legs --32in. (181.5cm.) wide, the cylinders 13in. (33cm.), circa 1875
