The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Karl B. Wohlert from the Hofer Dokumentation in a letter, dated 13.8.2001. The work is recorded as no. 1663 at the Hofer-Dokumentation.

Showing his two daughters, the work was commissioned by an American Foreign correspondent, working in Berlin at the time.
